Science education and discussion for adults has arrived in the Kansas City area with the Beagle Society.
Each month, the Society provides a venue for interested individuals to meet, discuss a topic, listen to a presentation, and socialize.
Previous sessions have include a presentation on fossils of the Kansas Sea, a viewing of the film Flock of Dodos, and a visit to the rare book room at the Linda Hall Library of Science and Techology on the campus of the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
Future planned events include book discussions, field trips, and more guest speakers.
Membership in the Beagle Society is $25 per year for individuals, $40 per year for families, and includes all of the programs, a newsletter, email alerts, and an in-store and online discount at H.M.S. Beagle. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to contact us.
